What Happens After Cancellation
Monthly billing
Access continues until the end of the current monthly billing period. Example: if you cancel on the 10th and your billing date is the 1st, access continues for ~20 more days.
Annual billing (Pro)
Access continues until the end of the 12-month annual period. No partial refund for remaining months. You paid for the year - use it until it ends.
Business/Enterprise
Seats remain active until the current monthly billing period ends. All developers in the org lose Copilot access at the same time.
Consider downgrading instead of cancelling
If you want to reduce cost without losing all functionality, downgrade to the Free tier. Free gives you 2,000 code completions and 50 premium requests per month. Basic completions are genuinely useful even if you cannot use Chat or agent mode frequently. You can upgrade again at any time.
